    Stop the Break-in before it happens

    Prevention is better than cure they say. I learnt this the hard way, our house was recently broken into but luckily not much was taken. So we decided it was time to get one of these. Found this online and the price was fair, the fact that there was no subscription involved was a no-brainer. So far so good does all the simple things well as we were not looking for anything extravagant. Camera is good, audio is good, it records pretty seamlessly. Now we can go to bed or leave the home and feel abit safer.

    The features are pretty similar to my blink doorbell and camera quality seems to be fairly close. Only thing I can say is make sure to adjust the settings for optimal battery performance, otherwise this thing will need a re-charge every week.

    We ordered more!!

    After our first purchase, we decided to order a couple more so we can put them in more entry ways around our house.
    After using for a couple of months here are some key takeways we can advise; 1.) This price is mostly likely the cheapest you would find for similar features and functions in a doorbell. 2.) I have and still own a ring where I have to pay a monthly subscription fee to be able to record videos and save them, in this case you don't have to get a subscription, all you need is a sd card (recommended to get a high capacity card to be able to accomodate multiple and long videos). 3.) Once setup, the interface is fairly simple and easy to understand. It is not all roses here so here are some cons; 1.) This doorbell is not waterproof so please avoid exposing to extreme weather conditions (one of ours got damaged by the rain but manufacturer was kind enough to send us a replacement). 2. Setting this thing up was a hassle, we had to reach out to the technical team who eventually helped us. It turned out to be fairly easy after being guided, we were just missing one key step which was not clearly explained in the user guide. 3. Make sure to get a high quality battery so as not to have to re-charge often.
